In particular the BBC seem to be doing very well with 2 appearances scheduled.

Also an interview broadcast last year with Janice Long can be heard again on BBC 2 radio

Another appearance on ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ is lined up on BBC1 for Friday (13th) whilst on the same channel the One Show expects a visit on the following Monday (16th)

I personally didn’t enjoy his last interview with Jonathon Ross, but maybe it was more to do with me thinking Morrissey didn’t want to be there rather than Ross’s efforts to engage him?

Apart from having to queue for an hour in yet more arctic conditions the night was thoroughly enjoyable.

If you are lucky enough to live in Manchester then the event takes place every first Friday of the month but beware of the one in one out policy once the venue is full. To be fair we were warned by the licensee as soon as we arrived at about 11.30 but will defo get there earlier next time. Once in a mixed crowd created an atmosphere more joyous than non Smiths fans would ever envisage!

Playing a mixture of Smiths and Morrissey tracks that spans his career the devoted crowd were in good spirits in aniticipation of further new material released on the 16th February
